Quarry Rules and Regulations
Everyone must sign in. A responsible
person 16 years of age or older must
accompany all children 12 and under.
A “Family” is defined as all people
residing within a household and excludes
family members who live outside the
household.
Absolutely no pets are allowed on the
premises, including the parking lot. No
pets are to be left inside cars.
No alcoholic beverages or glass
containers are allowed.
No fires except in Quarry approved
grills.
Smoking is permitted only in the parking
lot.
No swimming unless lifeguards are on
duty.
The water is to be cleared immediately
when the Lifeguard’s whistle is blown
for break. There will be a break every
hour approximately 15 minutes in length
or at the discretion of the manager.
A responsible person must accompany all
children 5 and under in the water. A
responsible person must accompany anyone
regardless of age not demonstrating the
ability to handle themselves in the
water.
Everyone under 16 years of age or not
demonstrating ability to handle
themselves in the water is required to
pass the swimming competency test each
year, before they will be allowed into
the deep swimming area of the Quarry.
No personal floatation devices,
including those attached to a swimsuit.
Diving board rules are posted at the
entrance to the deep area.
No running, loud radios/electronic
devices or hazardous activities are
permitted.
The Quarry will be closed when
electrical storms occur. Upon the
lifeguard’s order, the water is to be
cleared and everyone is to take shelter
until such time as the Quarry management
re-opens facility.
The Quarry management, including
lifeguards or Quarry Board members
reserve the right to ask anyone involved
in disorderly or disrespectful behavior,
to do out of water time, clean-up jobs,
to leave immediately or other reasonable
disciplinary actions.
The Boston Township Community service
League reserves the right to revoke the
pass of anyone who does not obey the
rules.
Participation in any and all activities
at the Quarry is at the participant’s
own risk.
Note to Parents and those with young
children!
The Quarry is surrounded by open woods
and water.
You must watch your young children who
may wander off.
